Roberto Capuano Shares Insiders Guide To Napoli And Mix

Napoli-born DJ, producer and sound designer, Roberto Capuano has been a semi-regular contributor to Adam Beyer’s labels stretching back almost a decade. His new EP ‘When The Lights Go Down’ EP continues the brain scrambling techno approach and so does his new mix which you can check out below whilst you read his guide to Napoli

Places to eat

You shouldn’t miss pizzeria “50 Kalò” if you want to try a great pizza and the famous Neapolitan fried delights.

“Tufò” in Posillipo is another place I often visit when I want a very typical local meal.

Drink

The historical “Gran Caffè Gambrinus” close to Piazza Plebiscito (the biggest square of the city) is always my favorite spot for coffee, and when it’s “Aperitivo” time, i highly recommend

“Barrio Botanico” close to Piazza Municipio, great drinks and the location is super cool!

Party

There is no better way to party than to attend “International Talent’s” party, especially during the summer when the events take place at “Arenile”. They deliver the best event production in Naples!

Chill

In San Pasquale a Chiaia you can experience the Neapolitan nightlife in an area called “Baretti”, a district with a lot of bars, restaurants, and delicious street food!

Places to visit

You should definitely check out “Parco Virgiliano” if you want to chill out and enjoy a panoramic view of the city. The park is located in Posillipo, it’s a bit off the centre, but worth the ride because of the beautiful neighbourhood.

Two other locations with stunning views of the city are the “13 Discese Di Sant’Antonio”

and “San Martino”.

Best things to do whilst you’re there

In the downtown of Naples, you can see many monuments just by strolling around and getting lost in the small streets. It is home to some of the world’s most famous churches, including the “Duomo di Napoli”, the “Cappella Sansevero”, and the “Chiesa di San Domenico Maggiore”. Also, don’t miss out on our famous castles “Castel dell’ Ovo” and “Maschio Angioino”! If you are looking for unusual souvenirs, you should also go to “San Gregorio Armeno”, a street chock full of artisan shops.
