Fleur Shore unveils UNDERGROWTH – a haven for the fearless, launching with debut single ‘Higher’ – out April 18
Fleur Shore has never been one to follow trends. She moves instinctively, weaving sounds and styles together in ways that have set her apart. Taking that ethos a step further she launches her project UNDERGROWTH—a record label, a party series, and more importantly, a community of art lovers who want to break free from mundanity and embrace the unknown. No rules, no expectations, and no concessions to the market.
The mantra is simple: we are connected, we are one, we are undergrowth. UNDERGROWTH is a safe space where artists – new, legendary, forgotten or under the radar – can express themselves however they want. It will be a home for music that lingers in the mind long after the night ends—whether it’s house, disco, garage, minimal, techno, electro, jacking, 90s, or something that doesn’t fit neatly into a box.
With this, Fleur Shore delivers the debut single for UNDERGROWTH titled ‘Higher’ set for release 18th April. Free from excess, it captures a sense of warmth and optimism, built to last beyond the dancefloor and not just a DJ club tool.
It’s the perfect encapsulation of what the label stands for, not concerned with clicks, likes, or streams but the connection and community a record can create. ‘Higher’ is the first in a string of four singles that will be coming out in the coming months, each daringly different and completely mirroring the essence of Fleur Shore.
“This label will be ART and I want to be proud of every single track on there,” says Fleur, whose own career has been built on her willingness to explore the full spectrum of sound. The project will transcend being just a label, offering super limited and unique merch runs to coincide with fashion-conscious parties that immerse dancers in interactive art installations.
UNDERGROWTH is the sound of Fleur Shore no longer conforming to unspoken rules of the electronic scene. Every collaboration will be guided by bold creativity and a fearless sense of freedom.
