Bissmire began his career as a DJ in the late 1980s, playing at underground clubs and raves across the UK. In the 1990s, he formed the techno group Bandulu with John O’Connell and Lucien Tomphson, releasing several acclaimed albums and singles on their own imprint, Infonet Records.
In addition to his work with Bandulu, Bissmire has released numerous solo albums and singles under his own name, as well as under the pseudonyms Space DJz, Beatjackerz, Jacknation, Dj Escobar and the Thunderground. His music has been featured on top techno labels such as NovaMute, Foundation records, 50Hz,CLR, Consumer recreation and many more. Jamie has collaborated with artists such as Chris McCormack, Dj Bam Bam, Paul Langley, Alxe Peace and long time friend Ben Long.
Bissmire is also the founder of the techno label Ground Records, Foundation Records, 50Hz and Infonet Elelectronic Recordings. Jamie continues to perform as a DJ, playing at clubs and festivals around the world and bringing his unique blend of techno and electronic music to audiences everywhere.
