Constantly in demand as a producer and remixer, Mauro Di Martino AKA Musumeci’s career dates back to the late 80’s under various aliases. Armada, Bedrock, Diynamic Music and Innervisions are just a few of the labels that the Sicilian artist has released on as Musumeci over the years. On top of this, Musumeci is the owner of Engrave Ltd, Multinotes Recordings & Buttress Records.
Musumeci’s latest work comes to us via the iconic UK imprint, Renaissance Records, as he partners alongside Salento born Dodi Palese to remix for Fur Coat’s ‘Dystopia EP’ (released 12th November). Together, Musumeci and Dodi Palese reimagine the EP’s title track in their unique indie style. Speaking on their remix, the pair explained how they were “instantly drawn to ‘Dystopia’s’ infectious riff and specifically wanted to celebrate that element”.
