Sensing the irresistible pull of deep, tech, and techno sounds sweeping Europe in the late ’90s, Bosnian DJ Sinisa Tamamovic began honing his craft in the underground scene of Banja Luka. From local gigs to commanding global stages, Sinisa quickly captivated audiences with his distinct sound, setting the foundation for a remarkable career.

In 1999, Sinisa partnered with fellow DJ Mladen Tomic to launch Urban Beat, a pioneering organization that transformed Bosnia’s nightlife by hosting international talent and redefining the country’s electronic music scene. Their work carved out a vibrant cultural niche, filling a gap in a recovering nation.

Sinisa’s career truly went global with the release of his first vinyl in 2005, opening doors to an international audience. Known for his heavy basslines, organic drum patterns, and energetic performances, he landed Top 4 spots on Beatport’s tech house charts with tracks like “Who We Are” and “Waking Up” in 2011.

Relocating to London that same year, Sinisa continued pushing boundaries, collaborating with legends like Paco Osuna and releasing on iconic labels such as Dubfire’s Sci+Tec, Tronic, Mindshake, Plus 8, and Kraftek. His own imprint, Night Light Records, has become a hub for fresh talent and renowned artists alike.

Sinisa’s music, supported by heavyweights like Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, and Carl Cox, resonates across global dance floors and airwaves, including BBC Radio. Whether through festival anthems or club-shaking sets, Sinisa Tamamovic remains a driving force in techno, tech-house, and minimal, inspiring legions of fans worldwide.
